The members of The Breadlosers first met nearly twenty years ago through the Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music program at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Like a lot of musicians in that scene, everybody eventually went their own direction for a while , different bands, different jobs, different places…but they stayed connected through music along the way.

Years later, the group reunited in the Knoxville area, bringing with them a shared love for bluegrass, old country music, and the kind of songs they grew up listening to.

The band performs at breweries, festivals, private events, and community gatherings across Tennessee and the surrounding region, mixing traditional bluegrass sounds with classic country favorites...and a few unexpected turns along the way.
